Anyway back to normal programming :wah:

Have any of you guys done this before? Usually for me it's coffee or tea when I've read something completely unexpected.

Did you smear it across the screen with your sleeve?

This morning i was taking some pills. Took a huge gulp of milk and it poured out of my nose into my lap. :yh_sick:yh_sick:yh_sick

No but I once threw up through a Mosquito Net and all the big pieces stuck on the net and the juices went on the floor.

I've spewed chocolate milk before, but the grossest thing was when I was eating a hamburger and a piece got stuck in my throat. I started coughing, then I sneezed and it shot out my nose. :wah::wah:

Believe you me. I've never known a kid like this in my life. If, and I don't make a habit of this, but if I have to leave her upstairs to get something from downstairs, she winges like mad. I have learnt that I have to give her a running commentary while I'm downstairs. Just as soon as I reappear on the stairs however, instead of the usual howl that I've come to expect from children, she starts laughing her head off. What's that all about?:-3

fuzzy butt;1053207 wrote: hmm if you look at the theory of milestones, (Piaget and Lorenz) ..........this child is between the age of three and five. give or take six months.

At age 0 to 3 from a childs perspective the world happens "to them" and they will show their joy or anger or dissatisfaction with the world .

Between the age of two 1/2 to five the world happens "because of them" everything that happens to them is because they controlled it somehow or they become the victim they think it's their fault........explains tantrums etc.

you've got a few years yet before there is the perspective of total interaction....give and take.:wah:

that's about as simply as I can explain it.

She's what, coming up to 15 months old. Take a look at my picture album.

fuzzy butt;1053223 wrote: wow I was way out ............:wah::wah: Same theory still applies......

At her age (and yep she's a cutie love the second photo last line on the first page.) she's still in the mode "he's not coming back " they don't understand the concept of 'You are going to return " you obviously know this and that's why you talk to her whilst down stairs. well done !!!:D

My voice maintains a kind of continuity for her and it's almost like a game of hide and seek for her which is probably what makes her laugh when I reappear. Even so, I have done this before with other children in the past and they have either continued to cry or have even become inconsolable. That has left me feeling like some kind of terrible monster in the past.
