I stopped at a convenience store on my way to work this morning for a cup of coffee. I spent a few extra seconds looking for these little round candies I adore (Nekos), and when I couldn't find any, paid for my coffee and headed for work.

I parked and walked in as usual. Right as I entered the door, security of the hospital was rushing to the parking lot I had just parked at. A man, not 10 feet away from where I parked, sat in his car and shot himself in the head. He must have done it right as I exited the lot and entered the building.

How different my morning would have been had I not stopped to look for Nekos eh?

Gives you a weird feeling doesn't it?

I remember driving our old mini in a rainstorm near Newport Pagnell.. OH said we would have to take it slow so the carb didn't get flooded but this guy in a rover behind us overtook and carried on... A little later we saw flashing blue lights ahead and as we got closer saw the rover. It was a tangled mess of metal and the driver was being cut out but the fire crew were not in a rush, it was too late to help.. He had been hit head on by lorry who took the bend too fast and too wide..

Most of the time I cursed that old car and its ailment but that night it saved us..

That's pretty desperate to shoot himself because you had no Nekos.

How are you feeling? I trust you didn't actually see him kill himself.

I've had first hand experience with many shootings and pretty good at disassociating myself with the victim. It was just "creepy" as someone put it that had I not stopped to find my fav candy, I could have been nearly standing right next to him when he did it. Now that, would have been a first.
