My SIL must always have the best of the best. No thrift stores, yard sales, etc. for her. She gave my hubs all of his bro's jeans shorts last year (Levis) for summer because she had bought him new ones. Hubs ended up with 10 pairs of those nice shorts (the jam ones). I almost fell over and said to hubs "these cost about $29 each pair". Hey, got me out of buying him shorts:wah:

She drives a Cadillac SUV and is now talking about putting on a $250,000 renovation to their house because she doesn't think her kitchen is "big enough" The size of her bedroom is bigger than my living room which is big:wah: Oh and the baby shower for my neice could not be done at her house, she went and rented a country club for that.

Other than buying American wherever possible, I'm as simple as you can get. That's not supposed to be a joke.
