I read about 'meh' in the English dictionary and frankly, i am disgusted. I intend to take them to court for breaching the right of British people to speak proper.
It is a blatent attempt to undermine the British way of life and our history. Heads will roll for this.
I have only just found out what 'lol' means :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl
Now could anyone tell me what 'meh' actually means other than the noise sheep emit when startled??

It is not, I'm relieved to say, in the Oxford English Dictionary and consequently it's not a legitimate part of speech.

In all things British, thank goodness for that. We have had enough of all this texting nonsense as well. It's just an excuse to be lazy and not spiel priper. I had a text recently in reply and i got 'Itt'. Apparently, it means 'Innit though!' An expression of agreement more commonly used in the Bristol area of the country.
Another one i had was 'nbfl' This means 'Not being funny like.
If the OED do agree to put such nonsence in, i can imagine in 20 yrs time, i won't understand one word that the future generation utters. It's bad enough now.
I am going to start a petition to lobby the government into stopping the abuse of all things British. (ITT) and (NBFL).

I'm sounding more like my father as the years go by.
Next i'll be shouting 'That's not music..That's just a horrible noise' and telling Mr O to get his elbows off the table and not speak with food in his mouth. :wah:
