Don't be too hard on him Fuzz. He needs relief from all those nappy's, sleepless nights, breast feeding, cracked nipples, crying non stop and nappy rash... That's just him... Imagine what his wife and baby are going through? :wah:

I fail to see the comedy in this story.
What was a 16 year old child doing with a gun in the first place?
Pointless, pointless waste of human life.

I'll have to be serious now
It is mad. I suppose that's one good reason that Britain is so anti-gun. Any one even caught with one goes to jail. I can understand Americans having them as a right to protect but there's always the danger the kids will get hold of them. I suppose the kid turned the gun on himself to avoid a lengthy prison sentence. Poor kid

True....... He wasn't a little kid was he? Yet here he'd still be classed as a child at under 17 yrs. What a stupid thing to end two lives over.. Fast food??

that to me is a huge problem nowadays, to many go under the offenders act, when some should be treated like adults.
he was 15/16.

We have that problem here. When the 'child' is being refered to as a 'child' in court, the 'child' can be nearly 6 ft and a snarling nasty individual.
We have just had a big case here where 3 'children' stamped on a guys head and killed him. One was 15 yrs old and he knew exactly what he was doing. They only got 15 yrs so with good behaviour, they will be out by the time they are 25 yrs old.
The kid in this case may have just shot his dad in a moment of madness but i suppose no-one will ever know now.
We have just had the news on and a 10 yr old has taken an air rifle (bb) gun into his school and shot a little girl who thankfully was not too badly hurt. I dread to think if Britain ever waivered it's no gun law

OMG..........what we don't hear of sometimes!
bb guns are easy access here, they are not illegal yet!
when I was a kid, some of the boys had them, my girlfriend and I used to sit and cry watching them kill birds, cats.........etc.:-1
and they also used slingshots for the same thing!:-5:-5
and they all know what they are doing, I am just sick of it all, the way the courts handle it all.
