So....

Got a call from our adoption agency on Wednesday, flew home, packed car, drove two states to meet our son, YES I SAID SON!

Finally!!!! After more than five years...I AM A MOM!!!!!

Hopefully we can get home before next weekend with our little baby bundle of joy!

Ive been encouraged and supported here through the years and just wanted to check in and ANNOUCE THIS AMAZING NEWS!!!!

ETA: He is healthy and wonderful and awesome and gorgeous and beautiful!!!!

Yes! But we are keeping it a secret until our immediate family gets to meet him! His initials are WAW, I can tell you that!!!

Being a proud mom (dad here) is the best feeling in the world, isn't it! :-4

I am loving every minute. the first couple months were hard but I got the hang of it. I quit my job to stay home and we are going into our second week. I also quit smoking so I take like 3 walks a day. Maybe I'll lose a pound or two. I sometimes want to rip this patch off and smoke it but I did it for Will.

The first few months are the hardest, its takes a long time to adjust.

Wonderful, now that you stay at home and congrats on quitting smoking.

Its not easy quitting.... I never could....keep up the good work...you can do this.:-4
