Oh Diana, I love that world globe holiday ball...Thank you for posting it.

It was hard accessing your last page today. I had to scroll 20 posts at a time. Don't know what's happending to some threads, but TS has been notified that there are problems.

I'm going to activate this thread again so it wll appear on the FG front page.....atleast for awhile. If you are a member who has been here for awhile, you may enjoy going back over the thread and reminisce. If you are a new member, this could be a good opportunity to get to know us a little better.

In the meantime, I will return with new ornaments to add to our tree. You are invited to add more if you wish. :)

My first addition to our tree is going to be for tabby. Her zodiac sign is "Leo" as is mine. :D

:yh_smiley:yh_smiley Thank you so much, along-for-the-ride! I LOVE this thread! After seeing your post, I went back and read the first two pages of it and will be back tomorrow to read all 17 pages. Here's my contribution to the beginning of the Christmas season, Burl Ives' version of "Holly Jolly Christmas". It's my favorite of the Christmas songs. I love the joy in it!

Great idea, tabby! :)

The Guido Garden below is only 10 miles from our house and they have this beautiful Christmas display every year. It's free and open to the public.

This is a neighbor just a short distance away from us, we

used to live really close. But never really a problem with the crowds,

people were pretty considerate. He's been featured on Good Morning

America, and is a really nice guy, to boot:

Well, it's that time again to decorate our Forum Garden Christmas tree. What I do is go to a profile to get some information about the person. Google an image (usually an appropriate Christmas ornament), save it, then upload it here to my post. You may want to scroll back down the memory lane on this thread.

I'll start this 2013 season with an ornament for Ahso: :)

If I may AFTR? This video is of my neck of the woods I lived in the next suburb when I was growing up . Every year since I was tiny we went to the boulevard to see Father Christmas. In the first bit of the vid there are two children standing at the fence I stood with my sister and brother right there 40 years ago. That first house has been doing this for as long as I've been alive.

I began putting up lights yesterday
