I don't follow the Euro or UK money exchange with the Kiwi Dollar, but right now the U.S. exchange rate is 29% better than it was in February of this year. From $82 cents U.S to the present $54 cents to the Kiwi Dollar. For me that's a big savings since I am living here on U.S. income. One hundred dollars of groceries actually costs me $54 U.S. dollars. I have not paid over $8.00 U.S. to play a round of golf. It costs me at least $20 U.S. to play a club that I belong to back in California. The Air New Zealand and Quantas air fares appear to be quite reasonable now as well, despite the many overseas Kiwi's that will be coming home for Xmas.

And no, I am not employed by the NZ Tourist Bureau

I would love to take another trip to New Zealand but the budget has been hit hard the past few months. So I will look and all the pictures I have taken on my past trips. :(

Did you think that Auckland resembled San Diego a bit?
