My heart goes out to all the dissapointed young children but why can't i stop laughing at this story.

Good on the parents when their kids were ripped off by fake Santa.

Would you pay £30 to take your child to this dungheap?

I'm not surprised that there was trouble....did you see the state of the place.........and you had to pay £100 per family. Apparently a coffee and a cake was £5....

I saw this on the news last night and thought it was disgusting, they interviewed the security guard and when asked if he would pay for his family to go there he had a pause so long that i thought he'd stopped breathing  It looked a total dive, I just hope that they can get some money back, apparantly trading standards are looking into the way in which it was advertised, hopefully they'll see that the park in no way represented what they had promised to their families

Huge shame for the kids and hard up mums and dads but i can't stop laughing at The Sun's pic of a tent in a muddy field. What a cheek to charge £30 for a kid???

It's probably scared them for life now.

British children will grow up believing that santa lives in a grotty tent in a muddy field. :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

Sorry, i just can't help but laugh. I'd love to see that come to court :yh_rotfl

Absolutely, i would have turned back at the car park and took the kids to McCdonalds.

It's just been on the news and apparently, they are refusing to close saying they have given value for money :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

I'm not laughing at them, it's the whole set up. It's just so awfull that it's funny.

They showed the place on tv and it's worse than in the paper. People are just wandering around with nothing to look at.

Then they say they are carrying on. That's it.... It's 'Carryon Santa'. :yh_rotfl

I didn't realise this story had got into the news. Our SENCO teacher dotes on her two small kids and was thrilled when she got tickets to this as she really wanted to take her kids to Lapland but couldn't afford it. She thought this was the next best thing and has been raving about it for weeks, she was totally thrilled about how thrilled her kids would be at seeing Santa in "Lapland"!

She came back after their visit and was gutted about how God-awful it was!

She complained about how small it was and said it had been given so much hype in the press it sounded wonderful. She said they had advertised it as having lots of things to do and how great it was for kids. Apparently when she went it had 3 crummy stalls, the children were forbidden from sitting on Santa's lap and they weren't allowed a present. She was so gutted for her kids. Considering how excited she was it's a criminal shame that someone can rip off families like that!

I'll have to tell her it's in the news so she can add her complaint to the list!

Us Brits don't like getting ripped off.

there's another report in the papers tonight where an agency supplying staff has pulled their workers out because it's getting too violent.

The cheek of them just refusing to close and carrying on ripping people off.

I've just heard on the news that they have finally shut the place down.

There is a place down the road from us. It is a garden called Guido Gardens and is a beautiful garden all year round. At Christmastime, it is decorated with a billion lights and numerous Christmas scenes. There is Christmas music playing in the background. You can go and leisurely visit all the scenes. It is gorgeous! And it's free. :)
