I'm never insulted by what Aussies say...I think it's great that two nations can have the craic with each other. It rarely gets really nasty, or physical. It's all done a bit tongue in cheek...

Anyway, this probably has nothing to do with real, normal Aussies . Just some PR firm - possibly outsourced to the subcontinent. Yer average Aussie is fond of the Brits in a distant kind of way. They are not terribly relevant to us way over here.. and they are trying to get the kids finished school for the year, find pressies for the rellies, stay sane with all the Chrissie parties, keep cool and somehow keep their heads above water.
