we became parents!

I never thought I would ask to smell someone's head, until I had my son. Now I say it almost nightly to make sure he actually washed his hair, using shampoo.

Other things I've said since becoming a parent!

Get your hand out of your pants, it's not going anywhere (my son)

The cat does not like to wear baby doll clothes (my daughter)

It's not nice to kick boys there! (at my daughter, she's figured out this makes her brother leave her alone, when he's picking on her)
