Do you regret much in your life and what would you change if you could turn back the Book of time.

I really have no regrets. Any stupid choices I made in life are lessons learned. The only thing I would do differently is to go to college after high school graduation.

well,, there is one thing,, when i was very involved with a youth football club,, i had decided to stop helping wioth the actual running of teams as i had lots of other stuff to do. Then one of the very young teams was in trouble and they asked me to take it over to try sort things out and find someone else to take them on. not wanting a team to fold and kids be dissapointed i said yes. i think thats the one thing i regret doing, the troubles (mainly one psycho parent) chnaged my life really:thinking: it was one of the worst things i have gone through that was personal to me, it ended some friendships and changed me as a person. it also ended a chapter in my life and then i suppose you begin a new one, i was ready for change, but certainly not the way it came about:(

Actually I regret the last few days here on the FG and the crap that went on, etc. My mistake on my end and I'm sorry if I hurt anyone's feelings. Just got caught up in the moment but do still want my good friend to be a member here. Not her fault that she left as it was over something we have no control over. But then again, I have no regret over it either. It was mainly for a great friend who is going through alot of personal stuff in her life. So she is taking time off from the FG to get her RL settled.

By Catherine Pulsifer,

How many times do we say something that we immediately realized was not the right thing to say?

How many times do we look back on an event and think, if only I had....

How many times do we do something that we wish hadn't done?

You can't change what has been said.

You can't change a past event.

You can't change what has been done.

Do you call it regret, sorrow, repentance?

Do you think about what might have been?

Do you relive an event the way it should have been?

Forget about regret, and focus.

Focus on today, not on the past.

Focus on what you can do, not what you didn't do.

The only thing to regret is living in the past

The only thing to feel sorrow for is not living each day to the fullest.

The only thing to do to repent is to sincerely say, I'm sorry.

Don't live your life regretting yesterday.

Live your life so tomorrow you won't regret today.

:yh_hugs:yh_hugs:yh_clap:yh_clap A major thank you from Ducky!:-4 Now, can we all go and make up silly Christmas songs?

Anyone who has lived a full life has made mistakes along the way. Ultimately, you learn from those mistakes. That's just living your life with it's inevitable ups and downs. The only moment you can do anything about is now. :)

I don't regret much, except my alcoholism. Everything I've gone thru in my life has made me who I am today, and I believe I am a good person. If I went back in time and gotten rid of my ex I wouldn't have my oldest daughter and my grandson. Every road I have taken, even the wrong ones, has led me to the man I love and as a result, I have my wonderful 16yr old daughter. Hubby and I have talked about this a few times, and if either of us would have made different decisions or taken a different opportunity, we never would have met and never had our daughter that is so special to us. :-4

If I could turn back the book of time,

I would've.....

dated more when I was still young.

kept my mouth shut in situations where silence is golden.

treasured my youth more than I did.

tried harder to keep in touch with my former friends .

spent more time with my dad when I still had the chance. He was a great person and a great father.

I have one single regret. That is taking that "year" off after high school.

I never went back to college.. I go next fall. =D BUT it could have been done right now..
