Since joining FG, i regually check 'Today's posts' to see who has added a post but i have recently discovered 'Who's online'.

What a wonderful snooping device this is?

I have never been a snooper myself but i have to admit, that i am snooping on certain memebers to see if they are on line and what they are looking at.

Am i alone?

Do you snoop on other FG's? If you do, admit it here and tell us who you snoop on and why?

i do go on the whos online sometimes though just to see whos here!

I do that all the time. I snoop on everyone. I like to see what combination of members are there because with certain combinations you get a lively forum and with another combination of personalities you might get a fun forum or serious. It is very interesting how the tone can change with different combinations.

I always hits today's post, just so much easier than checking every forum.



'who's online' is funny at times, when it says someone else is viewing 'who's online!':yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

I hardly ever look to see who is online...I only do for a specific reason...not part of the forum routine though...

When it seems really slow on FG I'll look to see who's online and when their last activity was. I don't stalk anyone in particular. :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

Galbally, you ca't have been viewing the same thread for so long. That means you haven't logged off and you have left your pc on and gone down the pub with your guitar haven't you?

Don't you know that pc's can explode and catch fire while Irish peeps are down the pub. Now get home with yer and log off. :yh_rotfl

I am guilty as well. But not because I leave. Sometimes people IM me and I get to talking and forget I have FG in the background. Or I go to cook something and my puter goes on hibernate and I forget its even on. Or I go off to verfiy something I see here and end up reading all the news. I have been known to fall asleep as well....lol. But many times I am just into a conversation on IM.

Don't think I ever have. I have however occasionally found an interesting new poster, looked at the details they've written about themselves and checked out other postings by them.

I only look at who's online when I'm bored and I want to see where everyone else is at.
