I've had Mozzilla for a couple of month and find it to be pretty good

Sunbird, but only because I keep an offsite backup of my data. I'd hate to lose it. I'm always looking for a Web 2 desktop I can settle on but they don't exist yet.

I ran Sidekick for twenty years and I'd be more than happy to still have it as an option. I liked Sidekick.

The 1.56 TSR version was good.

99 was clean and stable too.

I need a good forward planner. Is there any way you can just save a complete calendar elsewhere. I find when I use file and "save as" it just keeps that page not the whole calendar as I would want to do.

Scrub that-just worked out what i was doing wrong:o-using wring file type.

I've also saved the program files to my external Hard drive.

Lightning is supoposed to work with thunderbird to give a fullblown forward planner. Just wondered if enybody has tried it.

Not me - I'd thought lightning was functionally equivalent but allowed groups to update each others' calendars, with each underlying calendar being pretty much the same as sunbird's. I never saw it working though, and I never looked through the docs. I rarely work with other people and if I did they'd not be the sort to run a groupware planner.

Don't work with groups either so I've not really looked at it seriously. I use external hard drives for back up with one kept off site. I've seen too many off site data storage companies fail to be willing to trust them.
