Hello all, I have a small kid and I am just getting prepared up to make it good on his birthday which is around the corner. He is a book-lover and likes comics with superman being his fav. Now, I don’t get enough free time and the gift I had like to get him would be a collection of his fav heroes’ comics. There have been some online stores that I had visited but did not find any interesting stuff. Any suggestions to make his present a good one?

How old is the kid? Does he currently collect them? If so, he may be obtaining the newest ones when they come out. Perhaps you might purpose a comic day with a dollar amount specified. You could then take him to his favorite store and let him make his own selections. Or, you could take him in once a month when a new one would be waiting on hold for him (set up by you with the store).

Another option is obtaining book editions of multiple comics in one book.

You could turn this into something very special between you and the kid. Let your heart lead you and think back to when you were a child about what made you feel important and loved.

That’s nice, a comic would be a nice present and when he loves it, it is the best. Online shopping has spread to a wide area and now there are many categories and a wide range of services available for all types pf products that you wish to purchase. For a better range of comics of your selection, you can visit Bristol International Comic Expo as they have a wide category of comics’ collection to cater to.

There. Get out of that, the pair of you. (Not you, Kindle, I'm talking to the second product placement spammer sat in the wings).

Would you perhaps be prepared to talk to us about your job?

If I didn't know otherwise, I would say you were Spot or masquerading as Spot. How dare you. Unless Spot now arises and declares himself the source of this post then I must declare you, glainlee a complete and utter tosser. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, then that simply emphasises my point. So, stand up for yourself or eff off. (Bet you don't even do either.)

Floppy, for thine education. I paste this from Dictionary.com.

tosser

noun1. terms of abuse for a masturbator 2. someone who throws lightly (as with the palm upward)

'Tis thy choice.:D

What's so naff[1] is that he just posted it without reading the thread. That's not right. One day they'll be bots instead of people but I can't believe they're bots yet, the pair of them - there's too few posts like this for it to be bots. They're people playing a script to work out how bots should behave, that's what I think.

[1] for "naff", by all means enquire further. ForumGarden is nothing if not educational.

I'm sat here watching some damnable spammer hovering over this thread with an FG account registered in Jiangsu Province, China and currently logged in from the Kharkivs'ka Oblast in the Ukraine. Why is this thread so magnetic? Why are these wretched people so keen to spread their wares on forums in the first place?

Excuse me Mr. FG, but isn't this thread 5 years old ? Why are you bothered about stuff that happened 5 years ago ? I'm confused, or by saying that am I leaving myself wide open to ridicule or sarcasm, or both ? OK I'll say it again - I'm confused !

This was the thread the spammer was looking at this afternoon when I banned him. It's an event that took place today, I'm bothered about stuff that happened over the last few hours. He was the one who raised the old thread on the Who's Online page, I'm just the chap who posted my observation into it. I note in my defence that I did actually say all of this in the post you're querying.
