This year the Superbowl ads will be going for about $3 million.

There are a number of companies that will not be placing an ad this year. Among them is GM.

Do you think it is fear of public outcry or that "they finally get it"?

And will the era of the Superbowl come to an end because sponsors are declining to pay for the expensive ads?

Will ball players start being paid their true earnings?

There are alot of organizations that need to "get it'. IMO

superbowl ads are usually the highlight of the superbowl... it saddens me that so many are opting out.

I doubt they "get it", they are just realizing that their business would probably be even worse if they spent that much on a commercial after the bailout. The big bosses just don't want to lose their jobs.
