Life Insurance?? is that what he was trying to sell ya ahahahahaha

Interesting question.

I think I have more $ vested in my health than my car... a reliable car is an investment into my health...Yes??

My home, to protect me, same for some of the clothing I must have (I don't mean the fancy stuff I mean the practical stuff, warm winter coat, good shoes work appropriate shoes (steel toe boots)) etc, I think you get my gist.

Vacations, they are down time, time to rejuvinate ones health.

Yep more invested into my health me thinks.

Because detailed records are available to me re: what has been spent on my health in just the past 20 years between Private Health Insurance, Government Medicare, Personal Out of Pocket, I can tell you that the costs have been in excess of $534,000 USD with my personal out of pocket costs (premiums, cash etc) being the lesser at $28,000.

That $534,000 could have bought a Ferrari, a Porsche and a Rolls. I'll take the good health and my Toyota Camry XLE.

This is not about me. but when i was a kid in 67. we had a horrible snow storm over 30" . Well my mom got snow bond on the express way. walking home in the worse of conditions. Which put her hours late. Back then, there were no cell phones. She FINALLY made it home. Collapsing in my dad's arms. The first words out of his mouth was " where is the car??" talking to my dad about this years later. He could only say, it was his FIRST brand new car. MEN and their cars:-5:-5

The question Odie, was which do you value more, your health or your car, not how your health insurance is paid. Which do you value more? You can value your heath by your habits, like smoking, weight, exercise, all of which have a price to pay.
