Well, I went one whole day on Comcast HSI, & then the jinx happened! I had no HSI connection at all!!! My system reverted back to "dial-up!!! Grrrrraaa!!!

After a twenty minute wait to finally get to talk to a human, and then an hour on the phone with the AOL guy, the guy finally tells me it must be the Comcast HSI that's the problem. Grrrrraaa!!!

So back on the phone, now with Comcast, and again another twenty minute wait to get to talk to a human. So after fifteen minutes with this guy, he tells me that they sometimes have a problem with new HSI service the next day. As when their system acknowledges my new account, it stupidly then voids out the modem on my HSI! Grrrrraaa!!! So then the guy reconfigured my modem id, and I now have HSI again!! Lets see for how long this time!!!

Thank God we've mostly got those teething problems ironed out over here. I'm all fibre opticked up from the mux onwards. Yay for cable. BT still haven't caught up yet (except where the money is the scrounging bastards).
