I was reading Vice President's Remarks on Veteran's Day last night.We're a peaceful nation, with friends to the north and the south of us, and great oceans to the east and the west of us. Yet these blessings alone have never been enough to assure safety at home or peace in our world. At times in our history, arms and ideologies have been massed against us, and we have heard the call to bring freedom, new hope, and healing to afflicted peoples. This is Cheney speaking, of all people! Who's this "we" he's talking about? This is the arch-chickenhawk of the entire Administration pretending he's not spent the last eight years personally overseeing the deaths of a million innocent victims in the Middle East. "healing to afflicted peoples"? This man's the disease and he has the gall to say these words at Arlington National Cemetery on Veteran's Day?

And people wonder why I have issues with the current war criminal US Administration?

To be factual Themis.... In recent studie's into obesity.... It was only the state of Florida who came first in the study. 2nd was Scotland. (The funny bit at the north of the UK)

Last came countries such as Greece who have a far healthier diet.

As for the dumbest.... I'd have to dispute this based on the mass of deluded fools in Britain who truely believe that 'David Cameron', the leader of the opposition, can actually win the next election over Gordon Brown.

This is closely followed by Scotland who believe in an independant government. :yh_rotfl

No, not really although 'The Vikings' look good.

They didn't go out they adapted. Large sections of the british population have viking blood in them, at one point every royal throne in europe was held by the descendants of vikings. Norman, is a corruption of the word for norseman the normans being descendants of vikings that settled in that part of france.

Sadly, i have to agree with this statement.

I was proud that my Prime Minister and his government were the first to call for an immediate cease-fire and publicly condemn Israel as have most leaders around the world.

I understand that arms were being smuggled through the tunnels to Hamas. To cut off all the basic needs to innocent people such as medical aid, food, fuel, water etc and use the arms arguement for doing so, is hypocritical. The Israeli government could get aid in by air as well you know it. They choose not to. Also, they have the military capability to ensure what goes through those tunnels by opening a selected few and allowing aid through after it has been okayed by the military.

Israel will continue to lose support all the time they refuse to negotiate to let basic supplie's in first and fore-most.

You can't see that the Israeli's are even willing to kill Americans. They rammed a ship carrying American citizens and bombed the UN compound which is being reported here as white phospherous. Are you happy to see American's killed by Israeli's???
