How deep is too deep?

At last nights SAG awards many of the female celebrities wore gowns with deep, deep v-necks. Some seemed almost to be bare chested with dress open between the nipples and almost down to the bellybutton. Side views exposed the entire shape of the breast. Nothing was left to the imagination.

I did not find these gowns alluring in the least. In fact I was embrassed for the wearer. I'm no prude; I like sexy attire, but this passed into another realm.

How much exposure is titilating before crossing over into lewd?

Most of them are so grossly thin they are flat chested anyway...all you can see is bone.

Awhile ago obviously. Ever look at the models from Victoria's Secret? Big boobs but no body.

It's amazing what implants can do...but I haven't seen as many of them being all bone like some of the so called celebrities.

They live a different life style than most other women Kindle. If one of them had showed up with her neckline up where it should be she would have stood out too much from the rest. They are 'sheep like minded' and follow the flock much as most women do in any group setting.

As far as being skinny they are acutely aware that a camera adds pounds to their image. And lets face it, they are controlled by vanity/ego.

I looked for samples of the dresses I saw (while flipping through the channels) last evening and have not found any. All the ones shown are lovely dresses worn very well -- many are one shouldered gowns.

I'm thinking what I may have seen was gowns on some "want to bes", not actual stars.................... That would explain alot. Guess if you want to be noticed you'll do whatever.

We are a society completely obsessed with breasts. They are everywhere.

Young girls go into debt, or save forever to have implants put in. To me, the breasts are obviously fake. I have to laugh, because in my time small, or none was quite in fashion, with Twiggy as our role model. I shudder at the idea of carrying around 2 plastic bags filled with silicone. But then I am completely out of the loop, concerning what is fashionable. As far as exposing them goes, it is no longer shocking or surprising. Lets talk about EXTENZ the product that increases the size of male organs. The infomertial

is on TV all night long. I find it to be quite disgusting, and I am embarassed for the people who are on the ads. Did you ever see the one where the couple is dancing the tango, and the song Viva Viagra is playing in the background? It is so sleazy it is funny. For so many people life revolves around breasts, and you know whats... must be nice to have nothing else to think about.

I agree, society is mad, and media has brainwashed everyone. What is worse are parents that pay for this stuff for their daughters. In many ways we need a good recession to get our heads right. I think that there was just way too much money floating around allowing people to spend it on stupid stuff.

Money itself is not a problem. It is how it is handled or mishandled that lands us in a mess. There are many very rich, self made men, who live well, but also give huge amounts away to good causes. Mayor Bloomburg is one of them. He ranks #1 in the US in the charitible cause category.

What also blows my mind is the fact that in light of the presence of aids running rampant, we are supposed to be on this huge mission to promote abstinance. The contradiction is that the entire world revolves around sex appeal. Magazine covers list topics like.... Sex, how to, when to, where to, what does he want, what does she like, is once a week not enough? six times a week too much? If you dont do it, theres something wrong with you.

If you do do it, are you doing it right. Give me a break. Pathetic.

One actress I'm really impressed by is Kate Winslet (from Titanic). She is curvy and proud of it. She's a class act.
