In all of today's newspaper headlines here in Britain, there is a particually nasty story.

Knowing my fellow British Fockers by now, I just know that by the time i come home, one of them will have taken the pleasure in starting a thread on this story just to be pesky to me. It's got to happen, I just know it will. :(:(

Question is, which one of my annoying countrymen would do this to me with such glee.

The papers are full of headlines today so it could be any of many stories but don't i just know by now that I'm a sitting duck waiting to be sniped at? :(

Pete had a mild chest infection this week. Nothing too serious but he got worse yesterday and last night. It is so cold here and a lot of the meet was outside so it was out of the question for him to go. I just felt bad going off for nearly two days and leaving him with the dogs etc etc.

Yes, I've heard many other British types make similar statements in the past. Of course you can come over here whenever you like, and test that interesting assumption at your own convenience madam.

I do tend to avoid the small green gaff of yours on acoount of not understanding the language, the currancy or your street signs. Although, i was forced to a Dublin gig to see the Stranglers and have attend race-meetings there called 'Fairyhouse' and 'Leopardstown. However, they are the enjoyable things in life and one must suffer where one must in order to gain pleasure in life. A bit like coming here on FG.
