Excel spreadsheet into blogger entry

I'm trying to get an excel spreadsheet onto a new post on a blog.
I copy/pasted from the excel spreadsheet, but when I "paste" on the blog, nothing happens.
Anyone know how I can get that spreadsheet to copy?

You may have to attach it as a file instead of copying and pasting.

I have added one before, but it may not have been excel. It's a rows/columns entry to keep track of poker scores. I don't know why I offer to keep track of such things. Takes me days/weeks to learn something new. I don't even care if excel is not used, just needs to have rows/columns where I can add text and numbers.
