The person with little education or the person with a lot?

The more you know, the more you know you don't know.

I think the more education a person has, the more one become uneasy with the ways things are and they will strive to change the negative status quo in the world.

Ditto Chonsi, everyone is different and everyone has their different weaknesses and strengths.

Depends on the person.

Being educated isn't a route to being happy or content, neither is being uneducated, it depends on what you want out of life.

In general for me, I would rather be educated, but only if the actual education was about things that are valid and real.

But just being alive ant witnessing things happening around you educates you, if your the kind of person who is able or willing to learn. If you're close minded you could live to a thousand and never learn anything, as you would think you already know it all. The world is an amazing place, and just being in it should be enough for any person who is curious to keep them interested.

Its the same with formal education, you could go right through the system to PhD level and if your closed minded, your still not going to learn much, other than just know a lot of information. There are a lot of people like that, but there are also people who love studying formal knowledge, enjoy it, and put it to good purpose for themselves and others.

it all depends, being highly educated doesn't mean your going to be happy.

Neither being educated or un educated guarantees contentment, however, the educated person has a greater sphere of knowledge and awareness than the un educated and this allows for a greater appreciation of things in which to be content.

The one who has a sense of his own worth and is content within himself and knows they are as good as anyone when it comes tight down to it.

The level of education is neither here nor there. I'm with galbally on this one know many formally educated people who know a lot but are close minded and overly impressed with their own intelligence just as I know lots of people who lack a formal education but are still educated about a wide range of things and are ever open to new ideas.
