Oh, they say 7-10 inches here, I want a snow day!

I guess that great minds think alike. I was just going to pm you to see if you had a day off tomorrow.



They're also predicting 5" to 12" by tomorrow. Who knows....I'm preparing for work tomorrow but would love a day off. I worked all weekend and would love to relax tomorrow.

It has been flurries off and on all day, with ice on the cars this morning. I chiseled the windshields off to go to church.

We're on the snow line......Philly gets tons of snow, and we get rain and sleet. We mostly have delayed openings. We also have no snow days built into our calendar. So we will make up the day in June.



I woke up at 6 this morning and our street was full of sleet. Took me forever to clean off my car.



I walked along the sea for a bit this afternoon and almost froze. It was so bitterly cold.



We're also having a coastal flood and that makes me a bit nervous. I live a block away from the beach and a block away from the bay. Hope my sump pumps are working.



I'll think of you in the morn while we're still in jammies drinking a ton of coffee:-6 fingers crossed, jammies inside out and backwards, doing the snow dance:sneaky::D........I'm worse than the kidlets:wah:

Oh, no built in snow days, that would not be nice than for you. But, if the weather is so bad, that would be horrible to drive in.

Thanks Jester.....I will. It was bone chilling cold along the sea today but oh so lovely:-6. Didn't find one nice shell though. We need a surge from the sea to bring up all the shells and starfish from the bottom of the sea.

I've been lucky enough to find the starfish twice and unfortunately they were not alive. It seems that one year in Jan and March we had strong surges that picked up everything on the bottom of the sea and threw them on the beach.



It was so bitterly cold and I was the only nutter walking along the sea.

I collected about 150 starfish and gave them to all my kidlets, friends and I kept some for myself.



It was awesome. I also found tons of moon shells.

Odie, this is the 1st snowfall we've had all year and maybe the 1st snow day in 3 years at the beach:-6

Oh, it will be here soon, it is freezing rain right now. Snow, snow and more snow!

Our school usually calls the night before if the weather, like tonight, will be really bad. Or they call at 4 or 5 am that morning when they realize that they can't start the busses or have enough time to clean all the school parking lots.

SNOW, SNOW, SNOW! This pix was me last December 17th 2007, we stayed in NE till December 31st so we could spend Christmas there with family. It SNOWED 3 more times before we left, & even had a noreaster on our flight day, it was nasty!!! This season, we left NE December 3rd 08!:D
