Yesterday was the 33rd anniversary of my first date with my husband.

We went to dinner and then the Ice Capades. Upon leaving we ran into his father and Valorie (a woman around my age) and stayed to have drinks with them and another couple.

Despite the fact that I ordered Calamari at dinner (he was and is an unadventuresome eater) and I later referred to Valorie as his sister (I'm surprised your sister has such dark hair) and was told that was not his sister, but was his father's date, he did ask me out again, and again................

What was your first date with your partner like? Any interesting faux pas's?

My first ever boyfriend tried to talk to me three times and I walked on by, I didn't realise he was talking to me :wah:

Lunch date.

Kept it short to minimize damage.

we met around 9 or 10 in the morning and kept extending the date until about 1 or 2 in the morning so yeah, it was ok. :wah:

Met in a bar and the rest is history.:sneaky:
