got rid of that annoying right hand margin on my screen..
Personally I've always felt this place was larger then life and this better reflects that viewpoint, IMO..
Perhaps next we could consider changing to 8 point type for those of us who prefer not to wear our glasses for pure vanities sake?

I get them to when you click on todays posts at the top of the page. It is the screen that shows the post for today. Hummm, I think I just said that twice. :yh_rotfl

The browser experience is determined by the end user. What the site designer does is to provide information structure and layout hints. No site designer can know or predict the way the site looks to the end user unless the site is presented entirely in graphic form or formatted as a portable document. HTML provides the information and its logical structure. Style sheets provide optional layout hints. Only the browser knows the circumstances of the end user. For all the site designer knows, the end user hasn't even got a display monitor. The "display" might be simply headphones or a Braille pad.

Oh.
It boils down to what I can see on my screen isn't what floppy can see on hers. If I show you mine perhaps that might help?

The grey? The lack of icons? The screen width? That's very coincidental then.

That's a greater-than symbol pointing at the right-hand margin!
