I trusted they would make a mess of things and what do you know? I was right again.
When I lost my job a little over two years ago I had to move for my new job. I put our house on the market then and it hasn't sold yet. I've dropped the price about 37% so my equity is almost gone and I'm still making payments, paying my taxes and the utility bills on time every month as I always have. Now, who's gonna bail me out while I'm paying my taxes to bail out the deadbeats? I'm getting tired of being the responsible one.

This should balance things out.
Part of the Porkulus plan includes $1.7 million for pig odor research in Iowa.
The bill, which critics slammed as larded with pork, has big bucks to combat putrid stenches in the heartland, with $1.7 million for “Swine Odor and Manure Management Research.”
That’s on top of $1.9 million in each of the last two years, or nearly $6 million over the last three years.
The swine research center, at Iowa State University in Ames, got funds through the Agricultural Research Service, and aims to improve the smell of animals and the lagoons where waste is stored
