Ever since I was little my knees cracked whenever I bent my leg. When at high school doing class exercises everyone could hear my knees cracking away has happy as larry. I've never had any troubles with them, I have very healthy knees.

Yes, mine do, ask Pinkchick, Immy and Spot. I had to sit on the floor and they all cringed when my kness cracked :wah: It's ligaments that make the noise isn't it?

No Boopy Dooooooo, you have to take them back to 'factory settings'. If that fails to stop the cracking, you have to take them back to the shop and demand a refund. Failing that..... a spot of goose oil may help

Yeah Betty I'm not too sure, thing is, everyone used to say I'll have trouble with my knees one day but I never have. Do you have trouble with yours?
the reason I brought this thread up is because a friend said it sounded like I'd snapped a bone....Yes the cringe factor indeed.:yh_rotfl but I'm used to it, I forgot others might not be used to it.

Not with my knees, but my hips can be a bit dodgy, but they make a different sound altogether :wah:

I could never sneak upstairs, if I was late going to bed. My left knee cracks if it is bent and weight bearing, so I have to put my right foot down before I straighten my left leg :yh_rotfl :yh_rotfl :yh_rotfl

Thats interesting, I've been told that too, my left hip can give me awful pain, it kind of goes 'clunk' sometimes and until you get it to go 'clunk' again it's agony!

Yep I'm with ya there. I have to stretch really hard one entire side of my body to right it. At one point I went to a physio because my left shoulder was hurting . It turned out that the rest of my body was compensating for my right hip :-2
Hey but my Knees are fine :yh_rotfl
G-Gill :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl Youv'e got it sorted then? :yh_rotfl

If I didn't know better I would swear you were talking about my knees. I ead in a post further down this thread where you say you have been told that later on you would have knee problems but don't , again same here, My knees have always cracked so loud it has been embrassing at times, but at my age which is closer to 50 then to 45 I haven't any problems well except regular ones that come with knees my age.

It makes me wonder about people who's knees never crack and if they actually have the problems later on in life?

Humm, my knees don't crack but my big toes do. In order for me to sneek down the stairs when I was a child I had to wear slippers to muffle the sound. Sounds like tapping two drum sticks together ever time I took a step. To this day, I always have shoes or slippers on when walking around the house.
