Stars of TV, film, music and sport will take part in Comic Relief's charity TV event later, with organisers hoping to beat the record £40m raised in 2007.
Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders will lead a cast including Sienna Miller and Joanna Lumley in a comedy version of Mamma Mia! on the BBC One show.
And pop star Robbie Williams dresses up as a little girl in a sketch featuring characters from Little Britain USA.
People across the UK are also expected to take part in fund-raising events. The money raised from Red Nose Day will go towards helping disadvantaged people across Africa and in the UK.

I love the comic relief show and will be watching it from start to finish. Loved the Apprentice last night and the walk up Kilimanjaro.
The dancing has been fun, havent caught them all but the stars are brave to expose themselves like Jo Brand:wah:
I always love the soap stars sketches, Dr who and my favourites Little Britain who have Robbie Williams again this year.
Do you like watching it? Anyone here dressed up today?
My girls are having a crazy hair day at school. K had around 8 ponytails sprayed blue and yellow and M had a mixture of ponytails and plaits with blue and orange spots and stripes:D

We watched both the walk up Kilimanjaro and Celebrity Apprentice.
Watching children suffering with malaria is just heart breaking. I'm dumbfounded as to why something like 2,000,000 children a year still die from the disease. Well maybe not so dumbfounded actually. I'm pretty sure a cure would have been found had it been a "1st world" disease and not a 3rd world one.
Mosquito nets are cheap to manufacture and every man, woman and child should be given one.
Pressure should be put on the drug companies to produce an cheap effective treatment/cure for malaria but I suspect there is very little profit in it for them

Comic Relief's TV extravaganza raised a record £57m overnight, smashing the previous record of £40.5m from 2007, when the charity event was last held.
Stars including footballer David Beckham and pop star Robbie Williams, appeared on the show, and people have been fund-raising across the UK.
The total is expected to increase by at least £20m as more donations flood in.
The money raised from Red Nose Day will go towards helping disadvantaged people across Africa and in the UK.
By the end of the evening, the total stood at £57,809,938.
Well last night's show was fantastic. Loved the Mamma Mia sketch and Saunders as Streep was tv genius, so alike. Loved Little Britain and Robbie was hilarious, Catherine Tate, Gervais, all were fab but my fav was The Royal Family:wah:
