Reservation Road Movie Trailer 1
Nomad's Rating:
Great film ! This one is an emotional roller coaster.
Intense drama. Joaquin Phoenix plays a father who witnesses his son killed in a hit and run car accident. The story follows the family trying to find a way to cope with the tragedy. Unknowingly they develop a type of relationship with the driver who killed their son.

Why ?
It was interesting to watch how people grieve differently while trying to keep their heads above water and just come out whole on the other end.
Joaquin was driven to the edge of human emotion because his family was destroyed but in the end he was still able to recognize empathy.
It shows us what were really capable of when we reason.

I think Grey room is perfect for this movie. If you actually listen to the song, its about love and how much you lose when you lose it, but then its also about moving on from it, and how hard it is to move on. Which in many ways this movie is about. The acoustic folk music it is matches with a droll movie.
