Well Punters....... Had you of taken my prediction for the first three in the Cheltenham Gold Cup, You would have had odds of just under 100/1 returned for the 'Kauto Star', 'Denman' and 'Exotic Dancer' 1-2-3

I'm giving you all time to get to your High Street Bookie's in plenty of time for the best price in what i predict and hope will win our next major race, The Grand National. YOU CAN EXPECT AROUND 33/1 AT THIS STAGE. DON'T LEAVE IT UNTIL THE DAY OR HE WILL BE BACKED DOWN ON THE COURSE TO APPROX 10/1

Don't ask me Abbey. Over here I pick 5 horses for each of my 4 kids and the prize is a pint of Ben & Jerry's but not to leave anybody feeling out, I end up getting 4 pints...one for each:-4 The Kentucky Derby which is held on the first Saturday in May.

Any price you take anti-post now is going to be higher than the price returned by the course on the day. Even if he comes in fourth, your still looking at 10/1 for a place. Today's prices put 'War of Attrition' in some High Street bookies of 40/1. The big difference in this race is the gruelling jumps. You need a horse that is a 'stayer' for the distance and a horse that doesn't have a record of falling or pulling his jockey up. 'War of Attrition' is used to the distance and as far as i can remember, has never fallen. Good luck. :)

Also, 'War of Attrition' was pulled from ther Gold Cup to keep him at his fittest for the national which is a great bonus as he'll be freah on the day.
