I use to use a Frosting kit to streak my hair,
now I sit in the sun.
It's 90 today !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that's Hot for every one.
I don't think we're going to do a gradual climb, we do 90 degrees in March so the real hell is 120 in June......
I'm painting yard art and bleaching my hair - I use the spray Sun-In to streak my hair - works great with HEAT....!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
BTW did I mention it's 90 today & all week.????

Well, I've turned the heating off completely - never do that in mid-March normally.
Last year I saw a species of leaf-cutting bee that I've never seen before, and some sort of swallowtail butterfly ditto.
I find it frightening, and the refusal of people to accept it is real even more so, because that attitude will get us killed.

I take this change very serious. I have only a fireplace as means to heat my home and only bought 1 cord of wood.
sure we'll have 70 degree weather, which is nice/warm, but to hit 90 a couple of times already this year????
Very Very mild Winter
scares me on how HOT the Summer will be..?
Oh, Summer already started here...
My Hair looks great...! Thanks for asking..:yh_rotfl
Y & R - too stupid with Kevin, stupid stories, not interesting to me..

Oops - sorry about not mentioning the hair.
It's hard to say if the summer will be particularly hot. At present it seems to me that the climate is destabilising and the weather - whatever it is - is simply more extreme: last year seemed windier to me than usual, and the winter was actually colder than usual - the normal cycles are still there, but being affected by the changing climate.
It's not THIS summer, or next, that really concerns me, it's the summers 10 and 20 years ahead. I love my country, and I could live another 50 years and see so much that I care deeply about destroyed. I'd weep if it would do any good.

Patsy i hope you dont mind me posting this but i'm scared people will read the post and go out to buy Sun In and land up with broken damaged hair, i see this happen every year around this time in my work.
Sun In is a liquid bleach that is activated by the sun. When you apply the liquid it will continue to process until it is rinsed out again, being in the sun even for a short time hair can, will and does over process and the result is breakages. If you cannot go to the salon for whatever reason it would be kinder to your hair to use an off the shelf dye than this stuff, its dangerous, please read up on it if you dont trust me.
Sorry back to your thread.

I completely understand your concerns how we're affecting the Global balance and what the future will bring..?
It's just unusual for 90 degrees already - very mild - and some from MN, or Wisconsin would laugh at our Winter:yh_rotfl
Oh, wait they're HERE....
Buttercup - I've used Sun-In for years - yes at times it dries out my hair.
I rinse it out after I apply, and condition alot.
thank you though - it's not advised by licensed pro's..
it works great with our HEAT..
Oscar - I want LIPO - eye lift - breast lift - it's a gravity issue...:yh_rotfl
Odie - ya I watch Y&R - it's just boring to me now.
OK - I'm off to cut my OWN HAIR....:wah:
I've cut my own hair for yrs. too..
It's @ 87 today -I see a nap in the afternoon:wah:

Spring training is going here - teams from all over the US playing Baseball.
This of course brings folks in from all over to watch their teams.....
Not thinking about the heat - they sit for hours in the sun for Baseball..
Needless to say - our News announced Heat Stroke - Dehydration - Severe Sun Burn for those Out of Towners here for Spring Training....I don't ever leave the house without a large container of ice water - not ever, and extra water bottles in all vehicles.
Probably people from Minnesota - etc... Nomads Land, cold climate area..:wah:
So how was that Game..?
I'll handle the heat up to 100 degrees - after that it is Hell.
The hottest I survived was 122 degrees @ 1992, and I could care less about my Hair....:yh_rotfl
90 is just early
