It was with enormous sadness that i learnt today that you collapsed and died of heart failure at Aintree.

Described by the bookies as 'Always the bridesmaid and never the bride'. When you finally became the bride and won your first big race, the racing world lost a truely remarkable player.

I have seen you run many times myself and i and the racing world will miss your grace, courage and determination.

A truely sad day for racing. :-1:-1:-1:-1

RTÉ Sport: Exotic Dancer dies at Aintree

My heartiest best wishes to 'Denman' who also suffered from a brutal fall and nearly lost his life at Aintree. Reports are that although lame, you will recover well.

Another sad loss today for the racing world was 'Mel in Blue' who was killed at Aintree.

Denman, winner of the 2008 Cheltenham Gold Cup and second to 'Kauto' this year fell heavilly and nearly lost his life also. He's lame but should recover well.

Three have been killed at Aintree so far. :-1
