Why are you a $$$$$$ supporter of the GARDEN anyways?



I know why I am,.........

I have been surfing the Internet way back since when I paid a long distance toll charge just to hook up to a dial up service (ca 1979) and think I was the first to reach the pop up that said

"A$$ HOLE, YOU HAVE REACHED THE END OF THE INTERNET"



Then 03-21-2005 I found the "GARDEN" and was hooked...........Hated by some, but hooked. (Lady Cop brought me here)



So what is your story? And why do you support this site with $$$$ over thousands out there?

one reason was my pm box would get full and i would have to empty it now being a full member I am allowed thousands of pms before i empty it......but also I love FG and it not much money to join and I presume the money we pay goes to running the site which I dont begrudge:D

The forum needs support to maintain and keep it running, as there are bills to be paid.



Also, I have free rein on my pms.....without that my box would be full

and last but not least, everyone knows I change my avator almost every day to one of my own.

I take from the Garden in terms of pleasure, stimulation and interest so I give back in return - and at less than £1 / month I get by far the best end of the bargain :-6

Aussie Pam brought me to FG. We are friends in real life. I support FG because I love this site for the most part. I love and adore my friends here. As Chonsi said....."Coming to FG is like opening up your living room door and seeing all your friends here." I agree.

I have many friends here that I talk with on the phone and plan to meet in the near future.

FG is my 2nd home, and I will always support the site no matter what;)

I find FG easy to manage. There is also a lot of freedom here to express your views without every word you say being monitored.

I belong to another site where the mods watch every word you say and delete it without telling you. Don't think I'll last there too long

Spot brought me to this forum so you can all blame him.

I became a supporting member because i got fed up emptying my pm box every five minutes.

Made me look up the date I joined, 7-31-2005. It is nice to be here this long, and alway enjoy coming to the Garden daily to see everyone.

this is the first time I've been black since joining here over 3 years ago. I just don't spend as much time here as I used to so I dunno if I'll ever go green again.....

Its the only site that lets me in.

It is the best site out there just that simple why not support a place you spend so much time at. :-6:-6

Ditto Kathy. Yeah, I tried belonging to another site but couldn't navigate it like you can here. This place is much easier to get around plus I have loads of friends here too. I can't multi-task & do 3 sites a day...waste of my time.

I drift in and out through the years, when i'm here a lot i go green, see it as entertainment expenditure.

I support because it keeps me in touch with my great friends here. Has been worth it since I joined... and I honestly can't put a price on the great friends I have made here...

Crikey my join date almost makes me furniture here in FG OMG!!! I feel so old.

Mods.............do you hear this lady? Please assist her asap. She is a valued member of our Forum and she expresses a desire to be a supportimg member again. Who will come to her rescue and save this damsel in distress?:)

yeah... i totally didn't pay for mine

I only come in now and again to hang out with Nomad. He makes me feel normal
