What's your favorite non-fiction book?

For me, it's hard to choose! I loveFast Food Nation by Erik Schlosser, The Feminine Mystique by Betty Friedan, Isaac's Storm by Erik Larson and The American Women's Almanac by Louise Bernikow :-6

Here are three books that have had a major influence on me;

Charles Darwin a Biography

by Peter J, Bowler.

Pythagoras' Trousers:

God, Physics and the Gender Wars.

by Margaret Wertheim.

The Art of Happiness:

A Handbook for Living

by His Holiness the Dalai Lama and Howard C, Cutler M.D.

i simply cannot pick just one...ANY European history or WW ll history. if i HAD to choose at gunpoint, the 'Winds of War' and 'War and Remembrance' by Herman Wouk. then any English history. Russian history. French history. or STOP ME, i can't choose!! AGGGHHH!!!
