With a broadband connection, web cam and Skype, communicating with friends and relatives abroad is better than ever. Yesterday I called a friend in Australia to his cell via Skype, no echo, no feedback and the cost was less than a dollar. I then talked to my niece in Malaga, Spain via Skype and web cam. No echo, no feedback, cleat picture that filled my 21 inch flat screen monitor, and free because it was Skype to Skype.

Do many of you use Skype? WebCam?

Some time back there were some posts on Skype but I haven't seen anything of late.

Msn is fine, but you can't call a cell or land line as with Skype.

I have SKYPE and last week I brought mum over to my house stuck a red and green fuzzy wig on her also a Man UTD shirt and called my nephew in Spain,

He got the shock of his life. :wah:

Mum was amazed, he took his laptop around his house and into the garden and bedroom where you can see all of the town.

She was amazed and did'nt know such technology existed!

And the best thing is, it did'nt cost a penny, technology's a wonderful thing. :-6

I'll take free anyday Lon. As for the landline...I've got Comcast and it costs about $30/month and I can call overseas for nothing. It won't cost me a dime extra.
