Have we all forgotton how to write a letter?

A letter needed to be written and i thought typing it was unpersonal until i tried :wah:
Has the pc and spell check made us forget the joy of writing a letter to some-one we care about and the joy of recieving one back?
Will future generations of children not know how to write a letter one day?
Has text speak replaced the skill of the written word and e mail robbed us of personal communication?
Have we all forgotton how to write a letter?

I wirte letters all the time for exactly the purpose of keeping up my skills and good handwriting. (It's typing I'm not good at)

my handwriting is just horrible, I have 85wpm keyboarding skills, so its just so fast and easy, and to me, its still personal as I always sign it in my handwriting;)

A letter is a lovely thing to receive. Nothing wrong with writing it on the computer, if handwriting is an issue. I love blabbing on the phone the best.
