Going to the toilet in winter

so what's with the way we do things huh?

Why?, in the one room that we bare our arses do we keep that one room cut off and cold from the rest of the house?

We walk into our bedrooms with pj's on and it's warm and snug, but when we go to the toilet we freeze ourselves because we don't heat it . I'ts the one definite room where we will expose parts of our body and we cut it off from warmth?

Why?:-5:-5:thinking:

why not just heat the room? Close that window and open the poor bloody little room to warmth.

I don't know . I'm shutting the window and heating it tonight. There could be a few trips.

I'll tell you the results when the boys have used it tomorrow:D

We aim to please ;)...........this question just has me perplexed. why do we do this .

I know in the olden days ( yes mum will slap me over the head for this ) that people thought it indecent to have the 'out house' moved up to adjoin the house hold because it was seen as desease ridden, but do we hold that to this day ? do we hate the humble toilet enough to expose it to the winter elements?

Install a heat lamp in the cieling ceiling so when you get out of the shower naked, droplets of water dripping from your erect breasts its toasty warm.

Why do you have a toilet in the shower?

oh heck i just remembered we have a seperate room as a toilet here. the bathroom is the bathroom, the toilet "the twaaalette" Usually not in the same room unless it's the ensuit.

It seems like most Australian and New Zealand homes that I have been in, the toilet, pot, crapper, john, commode whatever is separated from the bathtub and shower and is a separate cubicle (not a bad idea really) and not heated. Most Americn homes (even real old ones with radiators) have forced air heating to all rooms, including bathrooms and toilets.

Whatever we now have, it still beats going outside for a walk in the snow to get to the OUTHOUSE.

Our upper floor bathroom in the winter has to have to door open to let the heat in, but the one that's off the kitchen has nothing underneath it...open space. Very cold.

During the Korean War I had R&R in Japan. It was my first experience with a toilet like this. I afraid my knees could not handle it today.

Therefore I deliberately keep the 'loo' the coolest room in the house, so his lordship doesn't linga longa ! :yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

I thought it was hot in Australia, what do you need to heat your houses for? With funnel web spiders and the like who wants to hang about anyway? Do you have to check each time you sit down and do you worry in case you missed one?

I have one cold bathroom and one hot one. Mine is left open and the other closed. Forced air heating to both. The seats however, are not heated and are a wake up call in the middle of the night. ((((((shiver))))))))
