I go into town just about every weekend. There are always buskers in town.

The microphone on my camera tends to break up from time to time causing white noise. I apologise for the this occurrence about half way through the second video.

They call themselves Lazy Baby. I was told by the young woman that they are a part of a 5-piece band. They don't have any gigs. They just do weddings and the like.



I will try and remember my camera in future when I go into town so I can video more of our buskers.

I really enjoy good buskers I think street music really brings a town to life.

We have a couple of good ones here one guy sings all 60's stuff Cliff Richards, Elvis Buddy Holly and he is great. I would hire him for a party like a shot.

Then there are the stolling threesome who play a sax a violin and an accordion they wander through the town playing to customers on the terras outside the many bars and cafes.

But oh oh oh someone gave a couple of Romainian (?) guys accordions and they cannot play they just squeeze that poor thing and produce awful noises.. Ive seen people buy them coffee just to get them to stop playing!:yh_rotfl

Very rarely, I have come across a couple of buskers who can't sing for a button. They're usually drunk.

I just happened to have my camera with me this time.

We had an amazing free-style jazz saxophonist a few weeks ago. My daughter was with me and even she wanted to stop and listen. (There's a guy who sells penny whistles but doesn't really know how to play them. She wasn't even the little bit interested in him.)

As you say, it certainly gives a town an atmosphere and livens it up. Though I feel sad for those who so obviously seem to have no appreciation of it.

Most of the buskers I have heard in Leeds are accomplished at their craft.

I like them. Theyre good quality buskers. Far better than the bongo drummer that plays on the London undergound.

Her voice is very "adele" dont you think ?

The bongo drummer.:yh_rotfl I have heard some good acts on the underground in my time.



My camera didn't do her voice justice. She has an incredible voice. Very Adele. Very powerful for such a slim lass. I could actually hear the words to Crazy. I struggle to make them out on the charted single.
