y'know that's so true, they never ask you for anything, they are always there when you come home.

my best friend just lives a few doors over, she and I have a wonderful relationship, we don't lie to each other, expect anything from each other, she and I both are there for our hard ties....and good.

We lead our own separate lives as we both love our space and down-time.

We understand if one of us just doesn't feel like going out.

We really understand each others feelings and what makes us both click.

and if one of us says something that hurts, not realizing ......we both say sorry and hug.

We have so much fun and non-stop laughing at times, we make ourselves happy.

and we are always honest an upfront.

if we have to be tough with each other.......we know its meant out of care and concern.

Mine was a red sheep dog who knew all my secrets & never told a soul.

I cried & laughed with him.

He would even babysit my oldest daughter when she was asleep in her cot.

Noone was allowed near that cot till she was awake .

He is long gone but was a lovely dog:-4

I have had many dogs in my lifetime and loved every one of them. They were all my special friends and I miss each and every one of them.

Right now my best friend is my Bailey. He came into my life not long after my husband passed and was almost the only thing (other than a very very good friend that is also a member here) that kept me from loosing my mind. He is always here to greet me when I come home and is my constant companion when I am home. He doesn't do any tricks or do anything special but it is of no matter. We share an unconditional love and respect for each other and I really don't know what I would do without him. If people had the same mind set that dogs do the world would then be a better place.

My best friend was my kitty...Chancellor the grey cat...well, he's gone to kitty heaven now.

My best friend though and I have several are Kathy Ellen, Carolly, Oscar & so many others from FG...RL friends are Christine, Chris M, Chris T, Dot, Michelle, Reni, Geri, Tito, Maryjo, Mike, Marie, Dave, Annette...all trusting peeps that I love:-4
