Mikeinie, I've been meandering through your photo albums. :)

Your photo's are all incredibly beautiful, and so clear too. :-6

Can I ask if you took them all and if you did do you travel to all these foreign shores as part of your job or do you just love to travel?

Also, how do you take such great shots? Have you taken photography classes or are you a natural? What kind of camera do you use?

My photo's are always kind of blurry or I take them a second too late and miss the action. Any advice on better photography would be good. :-6

PS. If you ever need someone to tag along with you on your travels and carry your camera case, I'd be happy to oblige. ;) :D

Thanks for your kind comments, you have encouraged me to post more which I will do shortly.

I have taken all of the photos myself. I always enjoyed photography and at the age of 11 started developing and printing my own black and white photos. I was always told I had a ‘good eye’.

When I was in my 20’s I went into it a business for a couple of years and had my own studio, but it is a very different thing trying to make a living from it, and after mostly doing weddings, I packed it in and for a number of years took no photos at all.

I enjoy travel and have done a fair amount of it recreationally, but for a number of years I was also fortunate enough to work for a large company that required me to travel to some places that I may not have normally ever had the chance to get to. While in these places, I would always make a point of staying an extra day or two outside of business to see as much as I could while there.

I am glad that you enjoy the photos and will post more.

I appreciate your comments, thanks.

Oh and the cameras varied, I have had a range of cameras varying from a Fuji 3.2 mgpix to a Canon 5 mgpix, and a Sony 8 mgpix.

Digital is so much easier that film when you had to wait to see how your pictures turned out.

(I do not do any computer enhancements to the photos, that would be cheating).

Thanks for a great reply. :)

What a great idea to stay for extra days to really get a feel for a place. Were you able to take your family on trips with you? Which place did you most enjoy or feel most attached to?

The photos are truly beautiful and such a pleasure to look through. I have some photos on my phone camera but cannot upload them. I'd like to get a nice camera thats easy to use but takes nice photos as I'd like to upload them here. Until then I hope you post loads more for your new fan club to enjoy. ;) :D :-4
