Her early work was pretty good. Hasn't produced anything of late worth listening to. Her drug habit will kill her and soon.

Im watching the full version now on the news about Amy....seems she can hardly stand now.To watch her Mum and Dad talking about her knowing shes killing herself is just heartbreaking it really is and they are going to start up a Charity for others who has Amys problem.:-4

I like her cd's, i know very little of her in the news but its not difficult to pick up where she's coming from in the lyrics of her songs, its not a good place.

What an Ungrateful abuse of a talent and riches that many girls would give anything for.Oscar you have no idea how easy it is to take the wrong path in the word of Show Biz.If your weak willed enough it can be fatal it really can be.Some years back I had a friend who was murdered by two blokes who were drugged up....my friend was drunk and they had also drugged this person.I lost a dear dear friend who had a huge input in my life and I have alot to thank them for even to this day....if they hadnt got into Show Biz this person would still be alive .My friend was led astray and paid the price with their life.Amy comes from a typical Jewish Family.....her father a black cab driver and both trying to bring their daughter up as a "good jewish girl"....she was weak....she couldnt handle the money and fame and also now she will also pay the price with her life and they will lose their little girl...as in their mind that is what she is and will always be.

Yes, wise words posh woman and i agree that under the pressures of fame and glory, it is easy to be led down the wrong path. I'm sorry but i can not agree enitely though. I feel very much for the parents who see their talented daughter wasting away but there is help for drug addicts and she could have taken the help if she wanted to clean up her act or felt her life was in danger.

She dares to be different. The music she records is unique yet still manages to get airplay. Not something American radio is usually up for.

Her classic jazz with a twist is refreshing but she needs to refine her style.

That said she has great potential but at present shes an ugly mess.

Totally agree, her Back to Black album is fantastic, i hope she eventually recovers to record more of the like.

I truelly hope she recovers and finds happiness but i prey she never records again. Whining, pitiful dirges in my opinion. Put her next to 'Duffy' and there is just no competition.
