I saw Bill Clinton in the stand the other day. That was the highlight.

I did go to Wimbledon once. A dog ran on the court. The Dog went on to beat Tim Henman in 3 straight sets.

Only another 4 days Bill.

I'm watching Federa and the 'tall guy' at the moment but it's not much of a contest.

Ah! I don't *really* dislike it, but the saturation coverage is rather annoying.

I'm missing our local noon newscast because that station is carrying the tennis matches. I used to enjoy playing tennis on occasion but it's about as exciting to watch as watching traffic lights change color.

It seems to be an endles repetition of "EeeeURRR plunk silence Hurray" or EeeeURRR plunk silence UUUUUhhhh" or "EeeeURRR plunk EeeeURRR plunk silence Hurray" or "EeeeURRR plunk EeeeURRR plunk silence UUUUUhhhh" with only slight variations from time to time.

I've carefully hidden this thread, so she won't see it. Thanks for the warning. Phew! That was close! What a relief!

Yes, blanket coverage of other stuff is annoying, too. I tend to watch "Special Occasion" sport, e.g. a particular game of rugger, or whatever.

I'm sure Cliff Richard only goes in the hope it'll rain and they will ask him to sing.

I guess it could be brain numbing for those that can't understand the scoring :p:p:wah:

Tiger Tim, what a man...

I took time out from the festivities in town and the tennis to watch some of the rugby on saturday. :guitarist

We have to put up with football week after week, two weeks of tennis is nothing!

Oh dear, look out, it's BB! How did she find *this*?

It wasn't me, BB, honest it wasn't, it was some big boys that made me do it, and then they all ran off, around the corner, and they were all *laughing*.

Where were those big boys when I needed them to carry me through the flooded streets of our nearest city, I knew I should have stayed home and watched the tennis :wah:

Update please Bill, what happened in Wimbledon today?? :D
