Detainees, Even if Acquitted, Might Not Go Free - WSJ.com

The Obama administration said Tuesday it could continue to imprison non-U.S. citizens indefinitely even if they have been acquitted of terrorism charges by a U.S. military commission.

Barack HW (Hussein Walker) Obushma. :yh_rotfl

Oh he's different from Bush, all right. It's much better to have a Harvard Magna Cum Laude president pretend to give fair trials then keep prisoners anyway, than for some ordinary president just do it straight out without the pretty promises.

Just add it to the list of changes we can believe in.

you will not see your taxes increased a single dime. I repeat: not one single dime.

you will be able to get the same kind of [health] coverage that members of Congress give themselves

Oh i don't know...... He's pissed off quite a few Euro leaders at the past G20 summit and he's still pissing thm off at the G8 summit.

I was suspicious when during his campaign he talked of closing

Guantánamo. He put upon Euro countries to take the detainee's but wouldn't allow any released to America.

*Maybe a LOT more than one single dime. Depends on what your interpretation of the word "single dime" is. Depends on your definition of "you"

you will be able to get the same kind of [health] coverage that members of Congress give themselves

*Do you suppose that means that the general populace will be 'given' the same kind of health care that Congress "gives" themselves? But who has to pay for it?

*patient pat on the head*

Of course not! Don't be silly. The health of our legislators is far too important for that. ;)

So you LIKE this??? You support keeping people prisoners even after failing to convict them of a crime??!?

I'd be complaining just at loud even if Ron Paul pulled this kind of stunt, but You really will forgive Obama of anything won't you?

If he invaded Iran and started touting the importance of controlling their oil supply, I guess you'd be fine with that too.
