Summer is almost here...those little tan lines are bound to pop up. Did you know that men find them incredibly sexy? I read about this somewhere recently (and of course I can't find it now). What is up with guys who like tan lines?
Is it just the positioning of the tan line? I mean...if I had a giant tan line on my face, would that be as hot as one on my chest, shoulder, or thigh?

Too funny! That is exactly what I was thinking when I read it! I thought the goal was to get NO tan lines. I guess I was mistaken!

I think tan lines represent (to men) a hidden area...that they would like to get to. When they catch a glimpse of this hidden area...it is exciting? I guess?

hence why with clothes its sexier to cover up a bit - only a bit! - not leave it all hanging out....
leave one too many buttons undone on a shirt, low cut trousers, a short skirt....
but not a short skirt and crop top, leaves too little to the imagination.....
for guys....
undo ure tie and top button (leaving the tie on) yummy.....

Yeah that's logical. Maybe wapping it all out on the beach isn't sexy anymore?

So tan lines mid-thigh and halfway down the arms wouldn't be sexy?

Don't talk to me about waxing pain, I happened to catch on tv the other night some aspiring model guy having a "back, sack and crack" waxing !!!!!!!
What is the matter with these people, I even hear that a lot more men are having their chests waxed, it took me 47 years to grow mine and I am keeping them!

Well going one WORSE than that I saw a woman having anal bleaching done. Its apparently some new craze in the USA that women are flocking to have done. I mean what the hell are the people thinking who come up with these things let alone have it done?

Damn you hotsauce. I was all ready to put in my two cents and you did it for me. Drat.
Yes, it is exciting. To a male seeing the regions that are made taboo by the mores of the day increases the bloodflow... ! but to imagine what the regions could look like... Woo Hoo!!!!!
Slobber, drool, drivel, uh uh uh uh... . Glad I spent my fair share of time at the nude beaches.

"Tan-Lines" are OK I suppose, as long as they are the same ones! When there are 2 & or 3 sets of various degrees of Tan lines from different suits, then it really looks "messy", not sexy! :wah:

I always thought tan lines were sexy, so when I went to "fake and bake" I'd always wear a thong. Turns out my guy doesn't like any tan lines, so I now bake in the buff.
And Minks, I always wondered: Donny Trump, with all his millions, WHY can't he afford a good haircut???

I agree... I honestly never thought much about tan lines.. but I can see how it may be 'sexy' to some guys.. thinking/fantasizing about what they CAN'T see.. etc.
For me personally.. I always kinda liked tan lines.. since I am so pale and take forever and a day to get even the slightest tan.. to see a tan line on me is progress! :yh_sungla LOL
(usually I gotta burn first.. then I get a slight tan.. as the burn fades... How sad is that!? )

Tan lines are like a picture frame, they draw attention to the object of interest. The sacralege is in having drawn interest, the object is then hidden. Would it make sense to put the Mona Lisa in a beautiful frame, then hang a towel over her face?

As for tan lines I blame low rider jeans and half tops for the weird belt I had to wear every day last year. It just wouldn't fade!

There have been commercials on TV that advertise "Tan lines need not show". They have some sort of liquid that you put on like sun tan lotion, & it is supposed to give your body a Tan look, without going into the sun at all. Latest thing advertised is a Tanning "Spray" version. Sounds "safer" than "baking" in the Sun :-6 all day, risking Skin cancer? Anyone use these products, are they any good?

Tanning is an incremental thing. Start out at five to ten minutes a day and then work your way up to spending the afternoon and days in the sun. Too much sun initially gets the burns happening and we all know that lobster look can be both unappealing and painful.
Apparently, at least in Canada, the hours between ten and four in the day are when you least want to be in the sun without sunblock.

I have used some of them. The really expensive ones are the way to go...they don't tend to get so streaky...but who has the money for that?? (Well I do...because I got a $20,000 deposit this week...but normally I wouldn't spend 50-100 bucks on tanning spray/lotion.) Those stars sure look swell all glowing with their bronzer though. I'm sure their stuff costs much, much more!!!
