Christian teacher tells of race slurs by pupils aged 8 | Mail Online
The question is...... where does this racism come from? I see this every week in the take-away where because the staff are a different colour and speak a funny language, it is almost license for children to be as insulting as they like. I do not believe that at ages of 8 years old, these kids are born rascist, they get it from some-where and it has to be the parents.

What annoys me in the example of this teacher, is it seems not a lot is done. I am certain that if the teacher were to make comments to say a muslim child, he would be straight out of the door. Why do we tolerate it?

racism in any form by anyone to anyone is very wrong
by white to black,black to white or what ever
judging others by the colour of their skin
or by the country they came from
or the culture they are from is wrong ... end of

The children were Muslims being racist against Jews and English.
The Christian Teacher DID complain and HE was out the door
I am certain that if the teacher were to make comments to say a muslim child, he would be straight out of the door.

What gets me in the take-away is that due to the abuse from kids, they decided not to open until 5 pm instead of 3 pm when the kids come out of school. The kids were in uproar because they couldn't get their frie's yet wanted to continue to insult them !!!!!!

The Christian Teacher DID complain and HE was out the door I was just making a comparison that's all. We all know that if a teacher made comments to a muslim child, he would be out the door but it's ok for muslim children to be as abnoxious as they like and it seems nothing or little is done.

I agree that the kids should've been reprimanded & not the teacher, but when did Christian become a race?

Mr Kafouris says the way he was treated brought on stress and depression, and that he was forced to take time off work. He was finally dismissed because of his absence, on April 30 this year.
"We want you to take some time off."
"How much?"
"Just until we can justify sacking you for not coming to work." :-5

One could ask when did Muslim become a race?
It is wrong to abuse someone verbally or physically for thier race, religion, sexual preference, weight or age. ( hope I didnt forget anyone).
It is offensive and generally ingorant for a child not to be respectful of thier teacher or parent
When children exhibit this kind of behaviour thier parents should be held accountable after all it is most often at home where a child learns this kind of filth.

I think also in this day and age, there is just a total lack of respect. That is what is missing. I remember thinking that some of my teachers were complete tossers but i had enough respect for them that i would not dream of voicing it to them. These kids seem to think it is acceptable to say what ever they like to anyone and get away with it.
