This is just a spot to put my daily happenings,nothing to drastic .

Holidays are nearly over.

Back to school tomorrow.

I am looking forward to seeing the kids.:-4

Been a bit ill since coming home from my holiday.

Had to have nose & mouth swabs also a very strong course of antibiotics.

Just wish the constant coughing would stop,that would help get a good nights sleep:-5:-5

it's raining here today that is always nice ,bit cool 13.c won't be long & it will be Spring.

Noticed some of the Spring flowers are nearly ready to bloom.

I am looking forward to Spring & warm weather after having a taste of warmth on my holiday I want it back soon.

One Sunday last autumn, I was taking a stroll with my daughter around one of the lakes at a park I like to take her to. The lake is surrounded by trees.

As we walked, the trees suddenly shed their leaves all at once. It was like a leaf storm and my daughter was enthralled by it. so was I, there were so many leaves tumbling down. We stood and watched until it stopped (well, she sat in her pushchair:-6). Sadly, I didn't have my camera with me.

School started back today,it was great to catch up with everyone.

Set our room up & got things organised.

Bit cranky that we are missing out on more Aide time but what can we do?

I really think we all want to be noticed & at least being congratulated for doing something special at least once in our lives..



I don't want big slaps on the backs & parades etc.

Simple heart felt thank you's are the ones I love the best.

We have one student who tells us constantly that he loves us,bless.

His Mum actually thanks us for having him for the day at school she often say's

"I know what it is like having him all day,thank you very much"

That to me is the best thanks anyone could give me,sincere.

Had a great day today,lot's of hugs from the kids,some tantrums but nothing major.A good day all in all.



Some exciting news on the new arrivals birth date 3 weeks to go,can't wait.:-4:-4

Temper tantrums,runny noses,screaming,swearing,flounces.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh it's great to be back at school.

Went to an Autism conference yesterday.

Very interesting things came out of that,it was amazing :-6

Also had all my hair shaved off on Saturday night.

We had a "Save 4 a Cure" night about 10 of us had our heads shaved it was a fun night.

So far the total raised is $14,000 + & still more donations coming in.

I love this kind,generous town & the amazing people in it:-4:-4

I'm glad the Autism conference was good. I'm on the end of a huge waiting list to be able to attend meetings for our local Autism support group.

Thank you, my blood is still boiling after the ignorance of some people yesterday Took both children to a huge indoor play area today where the staff are used to my son and show no ignorance towards him at all, in this day and age you'd think people would be more tolerant of disabilities :-5

OMG You actually went and did this thing? Completely? you tend to get more if it's totally shaven. There's one coming up in our pub soon I've talked to my teenager about it. God I 'd like to get scissors to his head. I know a lot of people who really have a problem with it and would love to see it cut .........and yes pay money for it.:wah::wah::wah::wah:

It was for a good cause & I wanted to stop colouring my hair anyway;)

So this was the way to go,a couple of months ago I got all brave & went grey at the hairdressers,now it is shaved off there is a "blue Heeler" colour scheme on my head:yh_rotfl:yh_rotfl

Our grandson go his Learners to drive a car.

He & I did laps this afternoon:wah:

How exciting for him,he was so very proud of himself.

Little bit to sure on the odd occasion :-3 but is willing to listen & ask questions.

Another driving lesson this afternoon.

Youngest grandson is having a sleep over tonight.

I might see if they all want to spend the night & have a bit of a celebration.

Heading "bush" Saturday afternoon for an 18th b/day party in the woolshed.

I watched this man grow from a baby,he was our next door neighour.

Rang the expecting parents this morning............nothing happening.



Because of political BS.

No one is able to have a baby in our perfectly good hospital:-5:-5

They have to travel 300+ks & stay in a motel . With rellies if you are lucky.

As soon as the first twinge arrive I am in the car & out of here.

Then just wait until the time comes pretty bloody sad in this day & age in Australia.
