Habaneros will not do that to your stomach-----they have strong medicinal qualities. A little Tequila, a iittle lime and salt, some nice fish----deeeeeelicious.

Real men, or boneheads? Scotch Bonnets are OK in cooking, as are other peppers - however, do you know of anywhere they're routinely eaten, except to show off?

I agree Bill... I used to work with young guys who would show off at lunchtime with competitions as to who could eat the most hot peppers. 1 yrs. later the 3 had extremely bad esophagus problems. Don't think it's worth it.

We made the mistake of growing habaneros one year...what a waste of garden space...couldn't get rid of them. My BIL ate one & almost cried:wah:.
KE, I grow the jalapenos...love them with nachos.
