but boy to i feel like punching this guy:mad:

my sister lives next door to a big mouthed ass hole

she could see this rabbit that next door owns



had not been cleaned out or looked like it had been cared for in a while

she went round 3 times last week asking if she and her daughter could look after or even keep the rabbit if they could not be bothered or want to or even unable to look after it she was told to clear off and leave them alone :-5:-5

after a few days they waited for the nieghbours to go out and they climbed over the fence

the assholes had left the rabbit in its own filth with no food and water and it had died in horrible conditions a ghastly slow death

my sister is very upset as is her daughter :-5:-5

she has rang the RSPCA and they will look into it ,we are not grasses or tell tales but this has really made my blood boil :mad:

i know you will think its only a rabbit but i'm very upset over this and feel like belting him one which would make me as bad as him :-5:-5

sorry for the rant ,i just well had to let off some steam and vent

Doesn't matter that it's only a rabbit, it's the principle that counts.



If you have a pet it's your responsibility to look after it.

Sorry---------somehow I feel there is more to this story than what you are reporting. Your sister had no right to climb the fence and invade her neighbors property and should be prosecuted for doing so. It doesn't matter what the reason was.

She did well reporting the incident to the authorities. Poor bunny.....:-1

Good on you for grassing...... some-times you have to in circumstances like that.

Keep your eyes on him incase they decide to get a replacement for the rabbit and do the same to another.

When my bunny died I was devastated and I said I shouldn't get so upset, it's only a rabbit, but I loved him dearly and was devastated when he passed. Someone on FG very kindly told me he was NOT only a rabbit, he was a beloved companion and it didn't matter what kind of animal he was, all animals deserve love and affection and attention and caring.

You were right to report him to the RSPCA, they can rescue abused animals and fine or imprison bad owners! It's a shame your sister didn't report them earlier when this poor bunny could have been saved! :-1

Lon's right, your sister could be accused of trespassing for entering their property, which isn't fair to her. I would say she should pop over next time they're out and take photo's of the conditions for the RSPCA but again they probably wouldn't be acceptable in court for that reason. However, if she could take photo's over the fence with a zoom lens that might be acceptable because you could claim that the bunny's neglect affected your sister and your niece and both suffered mental abuse and anguish by being forced to watch this poor bunny's neglect.

Hoppy's wrong, violence isn't the answer. You would end up in court and the poor bun has already died, it would solve nothing and land you in trouble!

Solution! On Ebay you can buy bottles of stuff called Liquid A$$. It's easier to buy on the US Ebay site and harder to buy on the UK Ebay site, and apparently it's illegal to import (although if someone could send us some I'd be grateful! ) Alledgedly this stuff stinks to high heaven, worse than any sewer smell. If you google it you will see it's supposed to be fantastic stuff! People have sprayed it in their neighbours' gardens and the neighbours have dug up the sewer pipes, thinking they're leaking! I am dying to get some for my foul neighbours! :wah::wah::wah:

Legally she was wrong to have hopped the fence.

Ethically, sensibly and morally, she was 100% correct and justified in doing so.

Sometimes you have to say "screw it" and do what's right. If that had been a child there'd be no argument about right and wrong, right? You know there wouldn't be.

I agree about photos though, I wish she had taken some.

Yes she needs to be careful, but ignoring the plight of this animal and any others (God forbid) to come, is the wrong thing to do.

ps: It's not just a rabbit. It was a living, feeling, being. It deserved to be cared for. I hope those pieces of crap go up in flames.

A small cautionary tale Jimbo,

My nieces had a very much loved pony that served them well over several years but which the eventually outgrew. Wanting to keep riding they had to sell the pony before they could buy another.

After turning down several potential buyers because they did not think the pony would be well enough looked after a man and his small daughter turned up and the girl loved the pony and rode him well but couldn't afford the full asking price so they let him go cheaply.

A week or so later my brother in law found out that the guy was a dealer and that the pony had gone abroad for slaughter! He promptly went round a thumped the bastard.

The upshot of the tale is that my brother in law had a bit of satisfaction for a short while at seeing the flat on his back with a split lip but will have to put up with a criminal record for the rest of his life.

BIL decided it had been worth it at the time but, I agree, violence is seldom the answer - concentrate on getting him banned from keeping animals for life, much more worthwhile.

I agree I'm afraid. You can't go poking your nose into others business like that . If she had of called the authorities earlier instead of waiting the rabbit would still be alive. But that's looking at it in hindsight I guess.

I'm sorry you just can't go up to people and tell them you'll take their property away from them because of a judgement call you've made yourself. what if it was one of their kids? You wouldn't say " you're mistreating your child I'll take em' if you want"..........no, you'd call the authorities...Same with the rabbit.

Its ok if you belt him. maybe you an Oscar could work out together in the the yard, lift some weights, shank a couple of people.
