Is this your fathers first novel?
From his website: My son, Jeff, and I have recently reconnected and I have found a wonderful close friend in him. He is my guide and mentor in my spiritual life as well as giving me free advice on the damnable computer. The cover for SECRETS is his creation, and has been the best boost a first novel could get. Check out his work on
www.loosepaint.com.
Congratulations to you both!

That is just great! I love mysteries and I'll be sure to check it out. (As in find out more about it, not get it from the library. I'll buy a copy.) I love the cover! Don't the authors get some free copies? Or is that only when you self-publish?
Congratulations!

Hello, I'm the Nomadad. I took the name BRUNTZ because he's a character in one of my books. Bruntz is a play on words that Nomad came up with when he was a little guy. I appreciate all of your comments, and am extremely nervous about my first book being entertaining. It is out of my hands at this point, waiting to see what editing has been done by the publisher. I have learned a lot in the last year, especially that I know squat about the English language. I have an acronym above my monitor, "****". Meaning: Passion, Intellect, Savvy, Skill. I have all but the last one. However, I am a sponge for knowledge and continue to absorb. I feel better about the second book because I've had more time to apply my learning. It's a novel centered on the disturbing topic of child abuse. Lots of blood, killing, and bad guys.
If you are curious enough, SECRETS can be ordered through North Star Press on my website. Anxious, though apprehensive, I would appreciate your comments.
I have taken to staying a bit outside the typical 'who-dunnit' and concentrate on keeping the suspence with the story and dragging the characters through some unseemingly bad situations.
Enough of that; I'd like to dispell the idea that Nomad has no talent. We just don't know what it is yet.
As mentioned in my website, I have recently connected with one of my sons. I don't think I have actually disconnected from Nomad, but the distance between us is too much. My purpose now, is to build a bridge, and as I mentioned to Nomad, "With the right mortar". Our family came out of a war zone and needs some mending. The biggest fix is probably not too far off, I hope.
Thanks for 'listening', and stay in touch.

Welcome Bruntz, I am a bit of a book collector. When the book is released I would love to purchase it and send it to you and have you sign it and then I would pay to have it sent back to me. It would be a cool honor to have a signed copy of your book.

Hello BRUNTZ what a surprise to have you at FG. You book sounds totally cool and I will be one of the first to read it.
Your son Nomie as I call him is one of the funniest and most sensitive members on this forum. I consider myself very lucky to call him a friend. He is one of the major reason I come to the Garden each day he literally makes my day....:-6
Welcome and good luck with all your books.
